Is anybody thinking of making a Mecanim tutorial for the latest version of RAIN AI? I’m having major issues getting some things done with RAIN and Mecanim like randomly selecting a new idle animation when the other one has finished playing and certain things like that.

There’s a real shortage of documentation on how to use RAIN AI with Mecanim.

    Thanks!

Edit: Just noticed i’m in the wrong forum section sorry! Can’t move my own post :S

Hey @CodersExpo - thanks for your tutorials, they’re very useful. Been watching the Mecanim one, but I’m trying to figure out if there’s a better way to integrate the MecanimMotor with my mecanim parameters - the titles and tooltips provided in the AI -> Motor panel suggest that I may be able to set up speed / rotation / angle parameters in mecanim and tie them in somehow?

The documentation is a bit weak in this area at the moment:

    http://www.rivaltheory.com/wiki/doku.php?id=ai:motion:mecanimmotor

It doesn’t really go in to any detail about what each setting does and what it expects. That would be a very handy topic for you to cover in a video.
