    as the title asks

    ETA on when dynamic navmesh or navmesh obstacles will be available

    if no ETA how difficult is it to utilize the navmesh / obstacles that are built into unity now?

    No ETA.

    There’s an active thread right now (look for @CodersExpo) that is discussing how to integrate Aron Granberg’s pathfinding solution for those that want RVO avoidance. You can jump onto the thread and ask about Unity integration as well. Short answer: it isn’t too hard.

    Well, I’ve just read the first post and I could only say : how rude it is!
    I mean the Rain guys are providing a very good AI for FREE and some people have
    demands! like without even to be polite.

    If I was prime I was not going to be so polite to answer.

    @Makarios : If you really want something or you contribute or you wait.

    I didn’t take it as a rude post. Just a straightforward one. We get a lot of requests about dynamic navmesh and collision avoidance. We just finished making some significant changes to how the Navmesh and movement systems work, so hopefully we’ll now get another chance to go back and re-address the dynamic issues.
